New Delhi: Well amidst all the protests and death threats Actress Deepika Padukone has been receiving, producer Ritesh Sidhwani has announced the making of Don 2’s sequel Don 3 with casting Deepika alongside Shahrukh instead of Priyanka Chopra.
The actress has been brutally caught in controversy for her upcoming movie ‘Padmvati’, with nationwide protests and death threats.
On the other hand, the Bollywood sources say the suggestion to cast Deepika in the sequel is due to Priyanka’s busy international schedule and Shah Rukh Khan wants to start the movie as soon as he finishes Aanand L Rai’s upcoming. Previously Don 2 made it to theatres back in 2011.
Now in a diversified country like India, with all religions striving to live in harmony, the atrocities against women seem to have no end with the latest one against Bollywood iconic figure Deepika Padukone.
The death threats continue to harass the actress since she is a woman, a symbol, mistakenly understood as imbecile and weak. Well, why isn’t the situation likewise with the actors who have also acted in the movie? Not a single protest or threat rose against the male actors of the movie but these groups shamelessly brag about the offense the actress has done by simply acting in the Movie.
The various protesting groups have taken the movie as a personal offence to themselves, fearlessly and boldly declaring ransoms, awards, on the actresses killing, indicating and proving the nation, the undying thirst of Hindu terror and muscle power to silence any rising voice against the system or atrocities against the citizens, not leaving a chance to make every situation into a political and communal issue.
