Bokoro express stopped

Hyderabad, 09: Bandh is intense in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts also. In the two districts, 859 buses in 9 depots could not move out. At the Vizianagaram railway station, TDP activists stopped the Bokaro Express for some time.
In Sangareddy, leaders of TRS, BJP, YSRCP and Left parties were arrested when the squatted at the new bus stand and prevented buses from leaving.

In Anantapur district, 1300 buses in 11 depots could not ply because of the dharnas staged by the opposition parties. TDP MLAs Paritala Sunita and Parthasarathy squatted at the Anantapur bus station along with party cadres and raised slogans demanding roll back of the hiked tariff.

In Kurnool district, 980 buses of 11 depots could not ply as opposition leaders squatted at the bus stations and prevented buses from moving out. In Kurnool town, leaders of TDP and BJP got the shops closed.
In Nellore district, opposition leaders prevented buses from moving out of depots. CPI(M) former MP Madhu, district secretary Chandra Raja Gopal, Madala Venkatesulu and others were arrested when they squatted at the main entrance of the bus station.
