Meerut: Te body of a 12-year-old boy who had drowned in an open sewer was today found from Jagriti Vihar area here, police said.
Gaurav had fallen into the sewer on January 30 in Nehru Nagar area here.
The residents of Jagriti Vihar Sector 2 today complained of foul smell emanating from the sewer. Upon inspection, they found a minor’s body inside the sewage line, police said.
The body has been identified and sent for post mortem, they added.
