Disengaged parts of the body of a 40-year-old woman were found on the Outer Ring Road on Sunday morning. Police believed that the woman may have been an accident victim and may have been run over a number of times by passing vehicles.
Raidurgam police rushed to the spot and gathered the body parts after received an alert around 6.20 am about a body lying on the ORR near L&T Towers in Gachibowli. The deceased was clothed in a red sari and yellow blouse. According to Raidurgam Sub-Inspector R Babya Naik “an unknown vehicle hit the victim in the wee hours of Sunday and several vehicles travelling on the ORR ran over the body.”
Police are investigative and examining the CCTV footage at toll gates to identify the accused.
