Guwahati, January 17: The body of a businessman, suspected to have been kidnapped by ULFA militants, was recovered today in Tinsukia district of Assam.
Police dug out the body of Prabhu Choudhury from Mohgaon village in Pengeri police station of the district after receiving information.
Choudhury was kidnapped on October 28 from Kakopathar by suspected ULFA militants with the help of a surrendered militant Dilon Duara.
Duara was later killed in an encounter in Pengeri with security forces on January 14.
