Attari (Amritsar), January 15: The body of a Pakistani fisherman, who died after a massive heart attack in a prison in Gujarat, was today handed over to Pakistan at the international border here.
Pakistan Rangers received the body of Noor Alam, 60, at the Joint Check Post, according to an Indian official.
Noor, a resident of Karachi, was arrested in November last year in Indian territorial waters in the Arabian Sea and was lodged in Jamnagar jail, the official said.
He died on December 17 last year after a massive heart attack in prison, the official added.
