Six decomposed bodies which were recovered from Saroornagar lake yesterday were identified by the police today.
Police confirmed that the bodies which were of three women and three children belonged to one family. According to police, during investigation it came to light that the family members had committed suicide due to problems and it was not a case of drowning. All were native of Narayankhade mandal in Medak District but they were residing at Mallepalle in the city.
The deceased were identified as Arunavthi, Suvarnavathi and Amaravathi, the three women, and Harika, Sravani and Bhavani, three children. As per the information, the family members had left from their house located at Mallepalle four days back, police added. All the bodies were handed over to their relatives and investigation was underway. UNI
