Amravati: Bodies of 4 engineering students were recovered from Krishna River who were drowned while swimming. The students drowned while they went there for a picnic. According to Andhra Pradesh State Emergency Centre, workers of marine, NDRF and SDRF helped to retrieve the bodies. The boys were washed away at the juncture of Godavari and Krishna River. All were the students of Engineering 2nd year of a private college in Kanchikacharla district. They were identified as Chaitanya Reddy, Srinath, N Rajkumar and Praveen.
The students went there for the picnic. One of the students slipped into the river, following which the remaining three jumped into it to save him.
