YSR Congress leader and former minister Boda Janardan is likely to join the Congress. He has been holding talks with the Congress leaders. Reports suggest that he might meet the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in a couple of days and take a decision then.
In the back drop of Peddapalli Parliament member Vivek and his brother and former minister leaving the party and joining TRS, Congress is trying to woo Boda Janardan. The party has been holding talks with him for the past few days. Stage is now set for Vivek and Vinod joining the TRS and Congress is making hectic efforts to bring Boda Janardan in, to offset the damage.
Responding to the reports, Janardan confirmed that Congress leaders were in touch with him. He said they promised to give him importance as Vivek and Vinod were leaving and added that he would think about it and take a decision. He however made it clear that he was no way dissatisfied in the YSR Congress.
Boda Janardan left the TDP and joined the YSR Congress an year-and-a-half ago. He joined the party in the presence of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. (NSS)
