Board exam for VI to X classes from next year – G.O. issued

Hyderabad: Govt. of A.P. issued a G.O. for introducing board examination for classes VI to X from the academic year 2016-17. In addition to this, jumbling system will also be introduced for examinations. These examinations would be uniform for all the Govt. and aided private schools. This decision has been taken after a series of discussions by the committee constituted by the Govt. State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will set question papers. According to this new system, examination would be conducted thrice during an academic year. Two examinations will be internal and one external. All the educational institutions are bound to implement uniform educational calendar.
