Dhaka : Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia will hold a workers’ rally in Dhaka on the occasion of Labour Day on May 1.
Senior BNP joint secretary general Rizvi Ahmed, who made this announcement in a press conference held at the party’s Nayapaltan central office today, said the rally would be held at Suhrawardy Udyan in the afternoon, reports the Daily Star.
The briefing was held after a joint meeting of BNP where leaders of the party’s different front organisations participated. (ANI)
