Blast kills 1, injures 10 in Pakistan

Peshawar, May 20: A bomb explosion has reportedly left at least one dead and 10 others, including two Americans, wounded in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.

Local Urdu TV channel Duniya reported that the blast took place on Abdarra road in the University town of the city Friday morning.

The attack targeted two US consulate cars in Peshawar.

The US nationals that were reportedly injured in the incident are believed to be employees of the United Nations.

Police have cordoned off the area and the injured individuals have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
