Meerut, March 23: Veteran farmers’ leader and Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) President Mahendra Singh Tikait was admitted to a hospital here today after his health suddenly deteriorated.
Tikait has been suffering from Prostate cancer for some time, a hospital spokesperson said, adding his condition was “out of danger”.
A large number of BKU leaders and workers gathered at the hospital to see their leader.
