BJP’s unsatisfactory performance: Vaastu reportedly blamed

New Delhi: BJP  had shifted its headquarter from 11 Ashoka Road to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, outside Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone in the national capital. However, after shifting which took place on 18th February, BJP faced many setbacks.

According to the report published in Deccan Chronicle, bad Vaastu is being blamed for the unsatisfactory performance of the party. Some leaders are now reportedly asking to return to the old party office.

It may be mentioned that the 70-room office is a multi-storeyed modern construction, equipped with the latest technological and communication facilities. It was designed by Mumbai-based architect firm.

It is reported that rising fuel prices, some rape cases in which BJP leaders are reportedly involved had affected the image of the party. BJP failed to perform in by-elections in UP. Party was unsuccessful in forming the government in Karnataka. BJP also lost alliance parties including TDP in Andhra Pradesh, PDP in Jammu and Kashmir etc.

It may be noted that BJP is likely to face tough competition in 2019 General Elections as many opposition parties are coming closer to form an alliance.

Due to these developments, demand to shift to old headquarters is allegedly raised. However, BJP MP and official spokesperson G.V.L. Narasimha Rao termed it as rumours.
