Bhatkal: Revati Revankar, Sub-Inspector Police, spells the beans by exposing BJP’s hand behind temple desecration in communally sensitive Bhatkal town.
Posted in Bhatkal town PS, Ms Revati, in a complaint to the state CM and Home Minister, claimed that few local leaders of BJP were involved in the case of throwing meat or beef at Hindu religious centres such as temples in Bhatkal and their intention was to disrupt peace in the society.
As per Subrang reports, she claimed that few senior police officials, who knew this fact, tried their best to cover up the case in an attempt to create communal unrest in the district.
She was prevented from taking strict lawful actions against “communal goons” because of the constant threats and harassment from senior officials, added Revathi.
For political gains, few local politicians are trying to create a major communal riot in the town and the senior police officials were protecting such politicians.
Speaking to the media, she rubbished the allegations of dereliction of duty and said, “The allegations against me are baseless. They were in fact waiting for an opportunity to suspend me,” she said.
