Telangana BJP president K Laxman today predicted that the TRS government would be defeated in next elections and the BJP would come to power as the ruling party has forfeited people’s confidence.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, the BJP leader alleged that the TRS government was following footsteps of the Congress and lost confidence of the people. He said the Centre had sanctioned Rs 1.5 lakh crore worth welfare schemes to Telangana State, but the TRS government was not sincere to implement those welfare schemes. Therefore, the BJP was taking effective measures to strengthen the party at booth level itself by the next elections. He also said his State party leaders were visiting the districts across the State to study the latest political situation
Addressing “Nirudyog Garjana” rally organised at Mellacheruvu in Suryapet district on Saturday, Laxman alleged there was no democracy in the State under TRS rule. He also said both Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy have miserably failed to concentrate on unemployment problem. He said unemployed youth were frustrated since the three-and-a-half years for not getting jobs.
The BJP leader said two lakh posts remained vacant in various departments and as per GO 610 and 36 on transfers and another 1.07 lakh posts remained vacant in the government. (NSS)
