BJP will not win more than 160 seats in LS polls, claims MP CM Kamal Nath

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Saturday claimed that BJP will not win more than 160 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

“BJP is not going to win more than 160 seats in the Lok Sabha polls. Congress will win around 20-22 seats in Madhya Pradesh,” he said here.

The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of BJP MLA and former minister Rajiv Shukla’s brother Vinod Shukla joining the Congress party.

Congress may field Vinod Shukla from Rewa Lok Sabha constituency in the Lok Sabha polls, said party sources.
As many as 30 other people including Dheeraj Pandey and Shyam Shrivastav also joined the Congress party in the presence of Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

Referring to “Mission Shakti,” the Chief Minister lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central government saying “if they would have worked on the land, they would not have felt the need to go to space.”

All 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on May 12. The results will be announced on May 23.
