The Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu rejected the TRS theory that regional parties will fare better in the coming elections.
Speaking to the media here, Naidu asserted that the BJP would secure 200 seats in the ensuring elections to Lok Sabha, as the people wanted to get rid of the Congress party both at the Centre and in the State. BJP will be the alternative to Congress, he said. The BJP will give a tough fight in every constituency in Telangana region, he added. He said the BJP would get strengthened in the State. The party would shortly announce its Prime Minister candidate, he added.
The BJP leader said that KCR has been saying that if TRS wins more seats, they would bring pressure on the Centre on Telangana. He added that if the people give verdict in favour of BJP, the party would give Telangana state. (NSS)
