BJP senior leader and former Union minister Ch Vidyasagar Rao has demanded that the Centre declare Sircilla as a district.
Seaking to the media here on Tuesday, Vidyasagar Rao said a proposal is being sent to Delhi to declare Sircilla, a major town in Karimnagar district, as a separate district.
Condemning the hostile attitude of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on State bifurcation issue, he said it was sheer madness to say that the President has no power to send Telangana bill. (NSS)
