BJP to use Hyderabad Liberation Day issue as its launch pad

Hyderabad: With an ambition to use Hyderabad Liberation issue as its launch pad to strengthen its base in Telangana State, BJP has reiterated its demand to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day in Telangana state. Speaking to media persons here at party office, BJP leader Indira Sen Reddy said students and youth should be made aware of liberation of the erstwhile Hyderabad from Nizam rule. On September 17, Hyderabad was liberated from oppression of Razakars, he claimed. He further criticized that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao always hails Nizam’s rule while chapters related to the Hyderabad liberation should be included in syllabus books. Indira Sen Reddy pointed out that though all razakars were Muslims but all Muslims were not razakars.

BJP leader revealed that State BJP will organise Tiranga Yatra programme across the state so that people could be informed about the Nizam’s rule and oppressions of Razakars. He demanded that the Liberation Day be celebrated officially on 17th September. He further informed that BJP National President Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Warangal on September 17.
