BJP is trying to implement its agenda: CPI

CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy today accused BJP of trying to implement its own agenda on people of the country. However, the CPI will continue to protest the “dictatorial” attitude of those at helm of affairs and disturb secular fabric.

Addressing CPI State Executive on second day at Makhdoom Bhavan here on Thursday, Suravaram maintained that they will continue to fight against “anti-people” policies. He alleged that the BJP was trying to make Constitutional amendments in favor of implementing their own agenda, including construction of Ram Temple, cancellation of Art 370 and Common Civil Code and so on.

Sudhakar Reddy appealed to the people and CPI to pull up the government at every stage if it failed to cater to the changing needs of people. He alleged that the BJP came to power with a lot of publicity promoted by corporate companies. It is yet to be seen if Prime Minister-designate would address the issues related to finance, international affairs, business houses, people, agriculture, irrigation, river water share and poverty.
Besides focusing on providing education and medical facilities to poor, he said the Modi government has to live up to the people’s expectations. The BJP Government at the Centre if it indulges in ignoring peoples’ problems and fail to give secular governance. Alleging that the BJP captured power at the behest of corporate support, the CPI leader said the Government at the Centre has to keep its poll promises. (NSS)
