BJP training manual says “Jihadi” and “Masihi” are the biggest threat to country

New Delhi: A manual of Bharatiya Janata Party released for its workers and office-bearers claimed that Maoists, also called Naxals, are “reportedly conspiring to conduct joint strikes with the support of terrorist outfits active in north-eastern states”. The guidebook has been released to orient party’s workers and office-bearers to its ideology and views on key issues. It further asserted that Maoists in India enjoy regular support from Pakistan and China.

Apart from ‘Maoism’, it has identified “forced conversion” as an internal challenge. As reported by the TOI the guidebook claims that a conspiracy to change the demography of the country has been going on for several years in the guise of “Jihadi” and “Masihi”, an apparent reference to proselytizing works of some Christian groups, activities backed by money and muscle power.

The manual accused some political parties of either “promoting” conversions or extending “mute support”. It also blamed previous Congress governments for economic deprivation of rural population who are 60 pc.
