BJP too ready for Elections if advanced in Telangana

Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today said the party is ready to face elections if it was advanced.

Accepting the challenge of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who hinted advance elections in Telangana state, Laxman , who is on a fortnight long BJP Jana Chaitnya yatra, said while talking to media at Marriguda of Yacharam mandal. He said BJP has prepared if elections are advanced as stated by KCR.

The party has began this yatra for a change and people are getting ready to question the chief minister, he said and alleged that KCR is ridiculous when yatra is getting good response from the public.

KCR is trying to mislead the people and playing a mind game saying that TRS would win 100 seats if elections are held, Laxman alleged questioning that why the former is encouraging leaders of other parties to join in ruling party when he has so confidence of winning elections.

Lamenting the functioning of the state government, the BJP state chief accused KCR government of playing a mind game on the name of surveys. He questioned what happened of promise of developing Hyderabad city on war foot as world standard city. No steps were taken in this direction even after four years of TRS regime, he said.

Laxman said people would teach a lesson to TRS government at a proper time for middling with MIM party. The TRS utterly failed in fulfilling its promises of providing one job to each family if TRS come to power, construction of double bed room, the BJP chief alleged.

Highlighting the achievement of Modi government Laxman said the central government has initiated various welfare programs for the development of the people in the country. To mitigate problems of women in kitchen room, Modi government has given free gas connections to eight crore poor families in the country. Of which 20 lakh gas free connections were given in Telangana State, the BJP leader said.

Narendra Modi government has sanctioned funds for various welfare programs to develop Ibrahimpatnam. The centre has given Rs 194 crore under employment guarantee scheme, Rs six crore for swatch bharat, Rs 16 crore under haritha haram, Rs 76 crore funds for panchayats in the district besides Rs 42 crore for Krushi sanchay scheme and 5,000 free gas connections in the districts, Laxman asserted and questioned where was all these funds. He further stated that Modi government has given Rs 69 crore for development of Ibrahimpatnam assembly constituency.

The state BJP chief asked the government to help victims of tractor incident reported in manchaal mandal. He demanded the state government to provide one job to each eligible member of the victims family besides payment of ex-gratia.(NSS)
