Bharatiya Janata Party state president G Kishan Reddy has threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike if the State Government fails to solve the fee reimbursement issue and organise counseling for the engineering at the earliest.
Talking to media persons in Tirupati Press Club on Tuesday, Kishan Reddy alleged that the government was turning a blind’s eye towards the problems of students in the State. Developmental activities in the State, he claimed, came to a standstill as the government was unable to focus on its regular business. He said that the State Government looked completely focused on promoting the Congress party.
The BJP leader also slammed the State Government for extending legal aid to the tainted ministers. He said how the government could extend legal support to the ministers facing corruption charges and embezzlement of public money. He said that the BJP would have always opposed such move and tainted or corrupt ministers should not be supported. (INN)
