BJP threatens to go High Court against Chest Hospital shifting

The Bharatiya Janata Party has threatened to approach the High Court if the Telangana Government fails to withdraw its decision to shift Chest Hospital from Erragadda to Viqarabad.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP Headquarters here on Wednesday, BJP National Executive member Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that the decision to shift Chest Hospital was taken by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in an autocratic manner. He said that the government could not shift a general hospital from the State capital to a remote place in a neighbouring district. He alleged that KCR has been trying to implement personal agenda at the instance of some land sharks who are eying on prime government properties in the twin cities.

Nagam also alleged that the TRS Government has failed on all fronts. He said that the Chief Minister has failed to make effective representation to the Centre on the issues concerning the State. However, he said that the BJP Government at the Centre would extend all cooperation for the development of Telangana. (INN)
