BJP National Spokesperson Prakash Javedkar on Monday expressed confidence that the TDP-BJP alliance would win at least 25 Lok Sabha seats in united Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a press conference here, Javedkar claimed that there has been a good response from the people and cadre to the alliance between the two parties. He said several youth have either joined either of the two parties or working for them voluntarily. He said the alliance has benefitted both the BJP and TDP and their combine would win at least 25 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
Javedkar informed that BJP’s national leaders would participate in the election campaign from April 20th in both the regions. Stating that as many as 20 parties have joined the National Democratic Alliance, he said BJP hopes to win the majority by itself and in case of any shortfall, it would seek the support of NDA allies to form the next government at the Centre.
He also informed that the BJP’s list of candidates for Seemandhra would be released on Tuesday. (INN)
