BJP Telangana unit President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday informed that the party’s manifesto and list of candidates for the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections would be announced after the Ugadi festival.
Speaking to media persons here, Kishan Reddy said that the BJP’s manifesto as well as the candidates lists is presently being reviewed and they would be released immediately after Ugadi festival. He also announced that BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, BJP National President Rajnath Singh and Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj would address a series of public meetings in all 10 districts of Telangana from April 10.
Kishan Reddy said that the BJP was planning to introduce a separate Sub-Plan for Backward Classes in Telangana on the lines of SC, ST Sub-Plan. He also assured social justice and empowerment of Dalits if BJP is voted to power in Telangana and at the national level. He claimed that Telangana State became a reality due to the support of BJP to the Centre. He said Telangana would have remained a distant dream if BJP would not have supported the Telangana Bill in Parliament.
The BJP leader also pointed that several surveys done by the reputed media houses have predicted that Narendra Modi would become the next Prime Minister of India. (INN)
