Hyderabad, January 09: BJP demanded the Central Govt. for enacting a strong Lokpal Bill. The party workers staged dharna near Dr. Ambedkar Statue at Tank Bund yesterday.
Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Dr. K. Lakshman, G. Kishan Reddy, B. Venkat Reddy and others participated in the Dharna programme.
Later Mr. Dattatreya told the pressmen that all the parties are demanding for a strong lokpal bill and also to bring PM under its purview but the Central Govt. is trying to include trivial things in it. He demanded to include CBI also in its jurisdiction. He threatened that protests would continue till the bill is passed in the parliament.
