Hyderabad, March 14: State BJP president G. Kishan Reddy has demanded that the government publish a white paper, providing details of the land allotted and used by various companies and SEZs in the last six years in the State.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he urged Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to review the allotments made to various companies, including those in mining and real estate sectors, the investments made and to take back the unused land. He said that in most cases, only 5-10 per cent of the allotted land was utilised.
Mr. Reddy also wanted the Chief Minister to convene an all-party meeting on the land allotments.
Referring to Pune-based businessmen Hassan Ali, he said there were allegations that he had cheated banks and individuals in the State capital and wanted the government to investigate them. He also sought to know about the links he had with the Congress. Mr. Reddy said his party would be launching a campaign against black money, corruption and price rise from April 6 to June 15.
