The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday sought the intervention of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to resolve the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh High court.
BJP National Executive member and MLC C. Ramchander Rao has submitted a memorandum to the Governor requesting him to expedite the process of High Court bifurcation. He also requested him to remove the illegal options in the allotment of Judicial Officers. He pointed out the High Court has already issued certain directions with regard to bifurcation while responding to a PIL. However, these directions are yet to be implemented.
The BJP MLC urged the Governor to ensure that the High Court’s directions are implemented. (INN)
