Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Saturday said that his party was re-thinking on its alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.
Addressing a press conference here, Kishan Reddy said that the Telangana unit of BJP believes that the tapes and videos related to ‘Cash for Vote’ case were not fake. “We gave our report about the same to BJP top leaders,” he said. However, he said that a decision on continuing alliance with the TDP would be taken only after the completion of investigation into the ‘Cash for Vote’ case.
Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy advised both the Chief Ministers, N Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh) and K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana), to focus on development than levelling personal allegations against each other. He said both the Chief Ministers should avoid inciting regional feelings.
The BJP chief also requested the people to participate in the Yoga Day celebrations on June 21. He said that the BJP would be organising the event at a massive scale at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally. (INN)
