BJP remains mute spectator to TS-AP rows: Madhu

Senior Telangana Congress leader Madhu Yashki Goud today accused the BJP government at the Centre of remaining a mute spectator at two Telugu Chief ministers crossing swords on various issues which turned contentious.
Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Madhu Yashki accused BJP government at the Centre of ignoring the plight of two Telugu States, which are yet to settle the issues related to water and power share. Instead of intervening and suggesting an amicable solution, the Centre remained silent leading to the problems between two States aggravating, he observed.
The former MP also slammed Chief Ministers K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu for failing to sort out the issues by sitting across the table. With the discontent among the chief ministers is looming large, the problems are showing adverse effect on the people, he observed. AP Chief Minister, he said, was dishonoring AP Reorganisation Act and creating hurdles for Telangana State. He also alleged that Naidu was inviting wrath from Telangana people for trying to gain supremacy by denying power from various projects to the region, he charged. He also found fault with KCR for giving a pat to those who looted Telangana resources.
Another senior Congress leader Jeevan Reddy alleged that KCR, who opposed giving contract works to Andhra leaders, was doing the same. He sought to know what steps the TRS Government was taking on House committee report of Rajiv Rahadaari. (NSS)
