BJP releases TV ads for Hyderabad civic polls

Hyderabad, November 14: BJP today released its TV advertisements for the Hyderabad civic polls scheduled for November 23.

Focusing on the “failures” of the Congress government in the last six years, the advertisements appeal to electorates to vote for BJP for improving the quality of life in the city.

BJP floor leader in the Assembly G Kishan Reddy, who held a press conference to showcase the ads, regretted that the State Election Commission vetoed the party’s advertisements on terrorist attacks in the state capital.

“Congress government has failed to secure third phase of Krishna river water. It has failed miserably to address the issues of public health, education, drinking water, public transport. The metro project remained a non-starter,” he alleged.

BJP would release its manifesto for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections tomorrow.
