Lashing out at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for stating that the BJP had colluded with the ruling Congress party in suspending the Telangana Congress MPs, the State BJP president G Kishan Reddy has said that the BJP was not interested to take part in the street play enacted by the Telangana Congress MPs in the Parliament.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, he said that the BJP was not extended its support to the Telangana Congress MPs as it was well aware about their drama. He made it clear that BJP was not in a need to collude with the ruling Congress party. He recalled that the TRS leaders had wore the Congress party Kanduva during the 2004 general elections and took Minister posts in the UPA-I government and such leaders have no moral right to criticize the BJP.
He said that the TRS was not clear in its mind on Telangana whether it wanted separate State or not.
He said that the TRS was facing anti-wave in the Telangana region after the victory of BJP in Mahabubnagar and it was resorting to criticism of BJP, afraid of defeat in Parakala constituency.
Alleging that the Telangana Congress MPs have no sincerity on Telangana issue, he threw a challenge at them stating that the MPs have to introduce the Telangana bill in the Parliament if they have guts. The BJP will extend its support to the bill, he said and added that the Congress has to pull the BJP if it failed to extend its support to the bill. He said that the BJP was introducing the private bill in the Parliament and it will make clear as to who will extend the support and who will oppose it.. (NSS)
