Condemning Telangana Jagruthi convener Kavitha’s criticism that the BJP was a communal party, State BJP has said it was ready for any sacrifices for achievement of Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, State party vice-president T. Vijayalaxmi said her party did not field its candidate in the Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad Graduates constituency following a specific request of the Telangana Employees’ JAC. She said people were observing the “mean politics” of Kavitha and her statements which tend to dilute the Telangana movement. She alleged that the TRS politics have transformed into hereditary and dynastic politics. She said Kavitha, who has no basic understanding about Telangana and Telangana movement, has no stature to criticize the national party like BJP, which took the Telangana issue to the national level.
Vijayalaxmi asked Kavitha why she was not speaking facts openly though Telangana Jagruthi was working as an affiliate of the TRS. She also made it clear that the doomsday was not far off when the people in the region would teach a fitting lesson to Kavitha, if she thought she could deceive the people in the name of culture and traditions. Vijayalaxmi said the people of Telangana have immense faith in the BJP as it was only party that could carve out separate Telangana State in the wake of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre was deceiving the people of the region.
