BJP to raise chopper deal, Shinde”s ”Hindu terror” remark in Budget Session

New Delhi, Feb. 19 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Executive Committee, which met here on Tuesday decided to raise Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde”s ”Hindu terror” remark, the VVIP chopper deal and the drought situation in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra in the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament.

“A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party Parliamentary Executive Committee was held here today under Advani”s leadership in which senior leaders Sushma Swaraj, Venkaiah Naidu, Jaswant Singh, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi and other senior leaders were present. There was a discussion on the strategy for the upcoming Session of Parliament,” said BJP chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad.

“The strategy will be brought to a final conclusion after the NDA meeting, which will take place tomorrow at 5 p.m. We will hold discussions with our allies in that meeting,” he added.

Prasad, who is the Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, further said the BJP has taken very seriously Home Minister”s remark wherein he has accused the BJP and the RSS of running training camps.

“The Home Minister should apologise, this has been our demand and we will take this issue very seriously. The corruption surrounding the helicopter deal was also discussed. So, we will raise this issue also for discussion,” said Prasad.

“We will discuss further strategies in the NDA meeting tomorrow. The other serious issues that were discussed are the brutal beheading of an Indian solider by Pakistani soldiers and the drought situation in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra,” he added. (ANI)
