BJP protests against the temple incident accused persons

BJP is irritated over the action of the police against the person who hatched the conspiracy of throwing beef in the temple and spreading green colour on its walls in Madannapet area.

The same BJP which had demanded earlier to take stern action against the culprits who threw beef in the temple, came out on the road to save those who are responsible for this misdeed. This U turn of BJP shows its dual policy. Policemen also were wonderstruck on the change of stand of BJP. Mr. Baddam Bal Reddy alongwith Corporator Mr. Sahadev assembled on the road to stage dharna. They lodged their protest criticizing heavily against the police. Police was playing partisan role in this case. A few days back, when some persons agitated against the arrest of innocent Muslim youths in connection with Maddannapet temple incident, the same police officials had resorted to lathi charge to dispurse the crowd. The police yesterday provided an opportunity for BJP leaders to assemble in Sayeedabad and stage dharna programme near Jai Hind Hotel.

Later police arrested BJP leaders as a precautionary measure. Bajrang Dal had protested earlier alongwith BJP workers to punish those who are found guilty of throwing cow legs in the temple when police caught the culprits responsible for this act, BJP is now pleading for their release.

BJP leaders allege that police officials got confession statements of the Hindu activists by assaulting them forcibly. The fact is that the Hindu activists themselves admitted that they had thrown the legs of the cow and had spread green colour with an intention to unite the Hindus. Police should investigate thoroughly. There is a suspicion on the dharna of BJP because the real culprits have been arrested by the police. It has not yet been known which force is behind this conspiracy. Is BJP trying to protect the force behind this conspiracy? People are suspicious about dharna staged by the BJP against the police officials who arrested the real culprits.
