BJP promises to reduce Property Tax if voted to power in GHMC polls

Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy has promised to reduce Property Tax if the BJP is voted to power in the next elections for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Addressing the party’s ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyan’ at Bagh Lingampally here on Saturday, Kishan Reddy said only BJP has the potential to defeat MIM in the city. He alleged that the party-in-power in the State dances to the tunes of MIM. However, he said only BJP has the capacity to fight against the MIM in all the areas of Greater Hyderabad.

Kishan Reddy asked the BJP workers to undertake door-to-door campaign to brief the people about various schemes being implemented by the Central Government. He said that the BJP aims to win the Mayor’s post in next GHMC polls and it would reduce Property Tax if voted to power.

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said that ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyan’ was launched to meet the members who joined the party through online mode. He said they would be briefed about the party’s policies and programmes. He said the programme would continue till 31st July. (INN)
