BJP promises Rs 2 lakh loan waiver, two lakh govt jobs in three months

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Telangana unit on Sunday released its manifesto in the city. Several promises made by the party in its manifesto appear to be similar to the promises made by the Congress party in the State for the December 7 elections.

The BJP has announced that it would waive off up to Rs.2 lakh loans of farm sector recruitment of 2 lakh government jobs within three months of coming into power. The Congress party has also made similar promises to the electorate of the state by keeping in view of the upcoming elections.

The BJP has also promised to build 9 barrages over river Godavari for the optimal utilization of its waters. It has also promised to build houses to all homeless poor families of the state. The saffron party has also promised to increase the subsidy being given to shepherds from Rs.20,000 to Rs.50,000. With an objective woo the students, the party has promised to give free cycles to school going children and two wheelers to college going children. The party has promised to give free laptops to all degree students of the state. In order to win the hearts of the beneficiaries of national rural employment guarantee scheme, the BJP has promised provide break fast to all of them.

A promise to provide a life insurance cover of Rs.5 lakh to all poor families of the State has also been made by the party. The party has also promised to provide government jobs to one of the family members of separate Telangana state martyrs. The party has also decided to rope in the services of 20 star campaigners for its election campaign across the State.
