BJP-PDP officially end alliance in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: BJP and PDP alliance is now officially over announced BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav.

BJP Chief Amit Shah had called in for an urgent meeting with J&K’s BJP members and according to the reports CM Mufti is likely to resign from her post reports dnaindia.

“All the BJP ministers have been called to New Delhi for a meeting,” a senior Jammu and Kashmir BJP leader told PTI.

Ravinder Raina J&K state Chief and party general secretary (organisation) Ashok Kaul also attended the meeting in New Delhi.

A press conference headed by Ram Madhav is now underway to declare the news.
Speaking of the sudden ending of alliance with PDP, Ram Madhav said it was no
longer possible for the BJP to continue its alliance with PDP.

He further added, “After discussing with everyone, we’ve decided to call of the alliance. For the last three years, BJP has tried its best to work with the PDP to ensure that there were security and development in Jammu and Kashmir.”
