Telangana State BJP today organized Maha Sampark program in the city in which score of people participated.
As part of nation-wide Maha Sampark Abhiyan, the State BJP organized the program in Palamuru basti under Baghlingampally division.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya called upon party workers to visit every house for party membership. He asked party activists to find out problems of the people while enlisting them as party members. Modi government is working for development of people and the country and this message should be taken to every house during Maha Sampark program, he said.
The Union minister also condemned the statement of AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who tried to give religious color to “Yoga”. He said Yoga has no religion, it is an art to improve your health. Dattatreya called upon people to participate in International Yoga Day on June 21 as efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi made Yoga known world wide and United Nations also declared the day as “ International Yoga” Day.
The Union minister said only three km road was constructed by the previous UPA government a day while the BJP government was constructing 13 km a day which would be increased to 30 km per a day. Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy also spoke. He stressed the need to strengthen the BJP to face the challenge posed by the MIM in Hyderabad city, he said, adding it was the BJP which was bringing problems of people to the Union government.(NSS)
