BJP National Spokesperson Prakash Javedkar on Friday stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party was not in a hurry for alliance with the Telugu Desam Party.
Speaking to media persons after participating in the BJP’s Election Campaign Committee meeting here, Javedkar did not elaborate on the status of BJP’s talks with TDP on alliance. However, he said media appears to have more information than him on the issue. He said that the BJP would ally only with the parties who agree with its philosophy and conditions.
Javedkar also condemned the statement of Rasheed Masood who had threatened to kill Narendra Modi. He said that the police register a suo motto case and arrest Masood on the charges of criminal intimidation. (INN)
