BJP MP Radadia resigns as Rajkot Marketing Yard director

Amid allegations and counter- allegations, BJP MP from Porbandar Vitthal Radadia and his four supporters have resigned as directors of Rajkot Marketing Yard.

Vijay Sakhiya, Arvind Tala, Chhagan Gadhiya and Dayabhai Patel resigned as directors alongwith the BJP MP today,
sources said.

Both Radadia’s group and the rival group led by present president of Yard Hardevsinh Jadeja are supported by BJP.

Sakhiya, who is considered close to Radadia, had sought information from Jadeja about tender size of under-construction building near Bedi town on city’s outskirts. Sakhiya alleged that Jadeja refused to give the details.

He accused Jadeja of misuse of funds, which Jadeja denied. According Sakhiya, construction cost had escalated by
several crores of rupees.

We will take legal action if the information is not provided, he said.

Meanwhile, Congress MP from Rajkot, Kunvarji Bavaliya, has asked Chief Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and
institute probe by an IAS office.
