New Delhi, Aug 9 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday hit back at Lalu Prasad Yadav for his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief is bound to lose his mental balance when one highlights the evils that took place during his reign in Bihar.
BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli, while reacting to the RJD chief’s jibe that Prime Minister Modi was ‘losing his mind with Bihar polls coming closer’, said the level of corruption and greed under his reign was so high that he was reduced to stealing fodder from animals.
“Every time, Prime Minister Modi points out to the flaws that were under Lalu Prasad Yadav’s reign which was called the ‘jungle raj’ of Bihar, he is bound to feel pain and jittery,” Kohli told ANI here.
“Yadav ji will always find the truth inconvenient. So, whenever the truth comes out he is bound to lose his mental balance,” he added.
Lalu had earlier criticized Prime Minister Modi for giving specific names to the political parties in Bihar, saying the latter has lost his mind with the election dates coming closer.
“You are saying ‘jungle raj’ because we gave voice to the poor people. I know Narendra Modi ji you are doing this to make whom happy, which section of the society happy. On one hand, you are insulting Bihar’s public and on the other hand you are saying ‘jungle raj’ then you are giving names to RJD and JD (U).” Yadav said.(ANI)
