BJP leaders make a beeline for RSS office in Delhi

With their party set to form the government under the leadership of Narendra Modi, several top BJP leaders today visited the RSS office here and held consultations.

Sources said that among the first important visitors to ‘Keshav Kunj’ today was Modi’s close aide Amit Shah who
arrived in the morning and stayed for nearly two hours. Former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and MP from Jhansi Uma Bharti also called on senior RSS functionaries.

In the afternoon, former Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa, who has won the Shimoga Lok Sabha seat, visited
the RSS office and left after nearly an hour. He said that he had a “good meeting.”

Visitors kept pouring in and in the evening it was Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan who arrived and
held consultations for nearly an hour. In the evening, former Union minister Murli Manohar Joshi paid a visit as did Smriti Irani who was BJP’s candidate from Amethi in the Lok Sabha elections. PTI
