BJP Leaders Flay TRS Govt—Failure to Implement 2-Bed Room Houses Promise

BJP workers including leaders were taken into preventive custody when they staged a dharna in front of GHMC office at Tankbund demanding fulfilling of double bed room promise made by the TRS government.

BJP Telangana state president, Laxman,  party floor leader G Kishan Reddy, MLAs, party city president Venkat Reddy, ex-MLAs were among those who were taken into custody by police and they were shifted in police vehicles.

           

Laxman said chief minister KCR has failed to keep up the  election promise of providing double bed room houses to poor people. Inspite of the centre granting funds for construction of one lakh double bed room houses, the state government failed to implement the scheme.

           

Taking a dig a TRS MP Kavitha who always questions about not releasing of funds by the central government, Laxman challenged Kavitha for an  open debate on the funds given by the Modi government to Telangana state.

           

Kishan Reddy accused CM KCR of indulging only in talks and not in actions.

           

Khairtabad BJP MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy today quipped that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao talks wonderful, but what he says  was not possible to implement them.      He was addressing the gathering in front of GHMC office where BJP has organized sit-on demanding fulfilling of double bed room promise made by the TRS government.

           

Except at IDPL, the state government did not construct new double bed room houses in the city during last two and half year regime, he said and alleged that the TRS government failed to fulfill its promise of double bed room houses.(NSS)
