BJP to launch T-Bharosa Yatra on April 16

Just a day after launching of Telangana bus yatra by Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) to create awareness on prevention of suicides being committed by Telangana students and youth for the cause of Telangana statehood, the BJP today decided to launch its own ten-day Telangana Bharosa Bus Yatra on April 16.
Talking to media persons after releasing a poster on yatra by BJP State President G Kishan Reddy here, Party Yuva Morcha State President K Venkateswarlu said the Yatra will start from Mahabubnagar and would conclude in Warangal on April 26.
He called upon students not to end their precious lives for the cause of Telangana statehood.
He said most of the students were ending their lives as they were disappointed due to attitude of the Centre on taking a decision on statehood issue in the name of consultation process with all the stakeholders.
The Yatra would increase self-confidence among students and Telangana activists over the bifurcation of State issue and boost their morale over the agitation, he claimed.
As many as 862 students had committed suicide so far for the cause of Telangana statehood, he said and appealed to the youth not to take such extreme step and not to lose their hopes.
Party’s national leaders had been invited for the Bharosa Yatra, he added. UNI
