The Telangana BJP is launching a fortnight-long Mass Contact program christened as “BJP Jana Chaitanya yatra” from Saturday.
The Yatra will cover all the districts in the State from June 23 to July 6. State party leaders would participate in the program at different places. During the yatra, the BJP would highlight the achievements of Narendra Modi government and failure of the TRS regime. The party would also create awareness about the Central welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister.
On the first day of the yatra, state party president Dr K Laxman will perform puja at Sri Durga Matha temple at Basheerbagh crossroads, after which he will proceed to Yadadri, where he will pray to Lord Nrisimha Swamy and address a public meeting at Bhongir at 5 pm. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, MP and former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao, BJLP leader G. Kishan Reddy, BJP MLAs and other leaders will address the people. (NSS)
