Dehradun, May 05: The ruling BJP in Uttarakhand today issued a notice to its leader Ratan Singh Gunsola in the face of allegations that he paid Rs one crore to the party to bag hydro-electric projects even as the Chief Minister said the final allotment of 56 such ventures was yet to be made.
State BJP head Bishan Singh Chufal issued the show cause notice to Gunsola who created a flutter when he claimed he had paid Rs one crore to the party to bag the projects.
A notice had been issued to Gunsola who had been told to reply within a week, Uttarakhand BJP general secretary Suresh Joshi told reporters here.
The final allotment of 56 hydro-electric projects under the self-identifed scheme was yet to be made, Chief Minister R P Nishank said.
“We have not made allotment for even 0.5 MW hydel project.
