Dehradun: In order to negate Love-Jihad, the RSS ideology follower saffron Party is willing to introduce ‘Love-Kranti’.
To put an end to ‘Love-Jihad’, BJP legislator from Laksar Sanjay Gupta on Thursday said that he will start ‘Love Kranti’ in his constituency in the coming days where he will “around 500 Hindu youths who have fallen in love with a Muslim girl and want to get married.”
Hatred for Love- jihad is blinding enough to make people choose wrong paths, similar is the bold challenge of this BJP leader who wants to initiate Love-Kranti to help Hindu youths marrying Muslim girls.
Speaking to TOI, the legislator said, “There have been instances when parents came to me and said that their daughters are being victims of Love Jihad. So I have planned to counter this with Love Kranti.”
The BJP MLA has earlier accused leaders of the Muslim community for supporting Love Jihad.
Congress state president Pritam Singh responding to Gupta said: “It is a clear case of polarising the people ahead of the election in the name Love Jihad. And unfortunately, the CM is also supporting the MLA’s idea. Such kind of things should be discouraged by the civil society.”
